Scholarships
With this application, you are eligible for one or more of the awards offered by the Falmouth Scholarship Association. Each application is considered for every scholarship although some scholarships are limited to students that qualify for specific stipulations. Your unique eligibility could improve your chance of receiving an award. All applications are confidential and used for scholarship consideration only.
Who can apply:
Applicants must have attended Falmouth Public Schools for at least one year from grades 8-12.
When to apply:
The Scholarship Application is available on this website on February 3, 2025.
Application deadline: March 31, 2025.

How to apply:
Applicant must fill out the application form online. The application must be filled out in full with a resumé of school and community activities and an essay (see below for essay requirements).

Details
PLAN YOUR TIME WISELY to collect all required documents. You can begin the application process through the Falmouth Scholarship website, save your application, and return to it. However, once you press submit, the application cannot be changed. Your application must be submitted before midnight on the deadline date.
The following materials must be included An incomplete application and/or any missing materials WILL DISQUALIFY you from the pool of applicants (see checklist below).
- Essay written about your chosen community
- Transcript
- Résumé
- Student Signature
- SAI / FAFSA emailed Cover Sheet (if applicable)
- Attach your most current transcript and résumé of school and community activities.
- Your signature is required.
- The application and all required documents must be submitted through the Falmouth Scholarship Association website on or before March 31, 2025.
- Questions concerning the application and submission process may be directed to your guidance counselor or the contacts on the Falmouth Scholarship Association website.
Essay Topic and Requirements
Falmouth is a unique community. Its history, geography, villages, and proximity to the ocean can describe it. However, within Falmouth, there are different communities made up of shared interests, actions, practices, or circumstances. You may belong to several communities in or beyond the borders of Falmouth: teams; bands; clubs; neighborhoods; or religious, cultural, or heritage groups, to name a few. Define a community that means the most to you and tell your story through the community you describe.
Tell us about one of your communities and its significance to you. The following questions can help you begin, but you may structure your essay in the way you think best.
• What is your community about?
• How did you become involved?
• Why is it important to you?
• How has it shaped you?
Your essay topic must be about your chosen community, or your application will not be considered. Essays should be a minimum of 250 and a maximum of 500 words.
